With more than 38 years of experience in the preneed insurance and funeral service profession, I have dedicated my career to helping funeral homes grow, strengthen their communities, and serve families with excellence. My journey began in the funeral home business, where hands-on experience shaped my understanding of the real needs, challenges, and opportunities facing funeral professionals. That foundation continues to guide how I lead, collaborate, and deliver value today.

I’ve had the privilege of advancing through regional and executive leadership roles with several major national preneed insurers—earning multiple awards for top production, sales excellence, and management performance along the way. What has always set my work apart is a commitment to building long-term, trust-based relationships and delivering best-in-class service that supports sustainable growth.

In my current role as Vice President of Specialty Markets at Premier Preneed Marketing, an Integrity company, I partner with funeral homes across the country to develop strategic preneed programs that increase market share, strengthen brand presence, and create meaningful connections with the families they serve. I’m passionate about designing solutions that are both practical and forward-thinking—whether through seminars, training, field support, or customized program development.

Eddie L. Pitt Sr. is a distinguished executive, entrepreneur, and industry innovator with more than four decades of diverse leadership experience in business development, sales management, and funeral service operations. As President & CEO of Cooper Professionals, LLC, Eddie oversees a rapidly expanding portfolio of ventures designed to support and elevate independent funeral homes nationwide.

Throughout his career, he has held high-impact leadership roles, including President/CEO of Prestige Service Associates, Regional Vice President for Service Corporation International, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Dutchman Corporation. These roles reflect his mastery of strategic planning, organizational leadership, and market expansion.

Eddie is recognized for his deep expertise in the death-care profession, further demonstrated by his former role on the Professional Death Care Sales Advisory Board, Wall Street. His work as a Client Resource Analyst with C&J Financial strengthened his operational insight and enhanced his ability to develop solutions that support funeral home profitability and sustainability.
